We have started studies in Applied Psychology at the post-graduate level and plan to satisfy the long-standing demand of the area. Our institute has also introduced BS (Hons) program.
This program is affiliated with GCUF. The Department aims at producing high quality professionals and psychologists who are committed to pursue excellence and are endowed with vision, courage, and dedication. Our students, after completing their degrees, will make significant and meaningful contribution towards the socio-economic betterment of the country through the development of human resources.
Psychology, being a scientific study of human behavior and mental processes, has not only achieved immense popularity with scholars of the modern age but has also helped in understanding the psychological problems prevalent in society. Psychological knowledge is now applied to diverse areas such as psychotherapy, counseling and guidance, hospital management, environment, business, education, industry, crime linguistics, and critical evaluation of literature and fine arts.
We aim to provide the knowledge of human behavior to the students seeking the same in an effective and research-oriented manner. Moreover, the Department is committed to meet the challenges of the modern age by producing researchers and professionals in the field who will be able to help us understand and ultimately resolve the problems of society.
Minimum Qualification: Intermediate/A Level or Equivalent Higher Secondary School Certificate in Basic Sciences/relevant subjects
Minimum Marks/CGPA: Minimum 45%
