Zoology is the study of the animal kingdom, including biology, structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct, and how they interact with their ecosystems.
BS Zoology at SHEC examines animals in the context of their behavior, evolution, and the influence they have on the environment around them with a study of the elements of biology, psychology, and environmental science. The Faculty helps students gain in-depth knowledge and build fieldwork skills to develop expertise in the field and the skills required to become professional zoologists and work across a diverse range of professions or go on to further study.
